Lark Witt, LMT

Lark Witt, LMT, CAS is a Master Licensed Massage Therapist of 30 years specializing in injury, pain management and trauma.  She is skillful in a wide range of therapeutic modalities ranging from the subtle, but profound CranioSacral Therapy to the more invasive, but highly effective cupping and gua sha treatments.  She takes time to discuss the client’s symptoms, health concerns, and mental state to create a customized treatment plan.

In 2006, Lark became the owner of Body Wisdom Healing Group, LLC., and began to explore additional therapies to offer at her wellness studio.  Serendipitously, she found the simple, yet profound medicine of Ayurveda.  The “Science of Life”, or more accurately, the “Science of Longevity”.  For several years she researched, studied and experimented on her own and found that Ayurveda addressed every facet of her life.  In fact, like honey it gradually seeped into each and every area of her life bringing balance and contentment.   The world needed this medicine!

Unfortunately, there were no schools of Ayurveda in Ohio.  By happenstance, the California College of Ayurveda (CCA) joined with Yoga on High to offer training in Ayurveda!  CCA was founded in 1995 and was the first school to gain government approval to provide formal education in the field of Ayurvedic Medicine outside of India. It has become both the largest and most recognized center for Ayurvedic education in the U.S.

Lark is completing her Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist internship and will graduate from the California College of Ayurveda (CCA) in September.  As a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist intern, Lark works with her supervisor, a Shaman, long-distance healer, energy worker, and Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist of over 10 years.  Together they take her clients on a wellness journey which focuses on:

  • discovering and honoring their innate, natural rhythms (daily, seasonal, stage-of-life, doshic, individual),
  • create daily and seasonal regimens which create balance,
  • individualized constitutional nutrition,
  • balancing and nurturing lifestyle practices,
  • and traditional and/or custom herbal formulations as needed.

Discovering Ayurveda, the wonderfully simple “medicine of the people” over 10 years ago, Lark immediately recognized she had found her dharma.  Now . . . to share Ayurveda’s purpose:  to protect the health of the healthy and alleviate disorders in the diseased so you can find liberation from suffering.

~ May all be happy.  May all be free from disease.  May all see good in everything.   May non suffer from any grief.
